6 years ago today, Will and I had already been married for 1 week! He was already sleeping on the floor. (My bed was "too soft for him")

Some of these are out of order. I gave up trying to fix it and just made sure I labeled them right.
Do you think we have changed at all in 6 years? ;)
I know we have. I know I would do it all over again.
Thank God for his many wonderful blessings!

I love you honey!!!

NIGHTINGALE: a post generated by a random word

nightingale- a word generated by a random word generator

nightingale

1.A small, plain, brown and gray European song bird. It sings at night, and is celebrated for the sweetness of its song.
Nana Loved birds... I miss her hummingbirds and watching her bird feeder. I think that there is something sweet about a little bird singing at night...  (Of course I might not think that in the morning if one was on my windowsill) Did you know that God knows when even a sparrow falls? I used to fall a lot. I fell one time at a HUGE conference in front of thousands of people. (and it showed on a big screen in front of everyone) I fell in 2nd grade and broke my arm. I was wearing rollar skates that were way too small for me... Can you find me in the picture?

I also have had other "falls." I fell one time and disappointed a lot of people in my life. I ran away from home.  Did you know God saw that? And the best part is He cares!!! Seriously it was one of the most scariest experiences I have ever had. Every once in awhile I still learn something else that make me realize that I could have been dead so many times on that trip. But God was there. I remember laying my head against the car window staring into a black, black night wondering if I would ever see my Mom & Dad again. I didn't even know if God would even look at me. (That's just how I felt) I kinda looked up at the sky, and all of a sudden there was this huge white cross. There was a light that shown on it and it lit up the night from its spot in the middle of nowhere on the side of the road. Somehow (even though I don't have any crosses or believe in idols, etc) it made me remember Calvary, and that He was still there.

The hardest part about any fall is getting back up. Sometimes you fall and you think wow, this didn't hurt one little bit! THEN, you start to get back up and everything starts to smart. Life is the same way. It sure is a lot faster to fall down then it is to get back up!

Sometimes you simply trip and catch yourself. Those are the best kind! They make me call out, but I don't fall!

The thing to remember is when you fall, get back up! I mean what would happen if you didn't?
You would still be there!

WHIT: GUEST POST!!!

My gorgeous BFF beat me to writing about this word somehow... So here is her take! Thanks !!!

WHIT
The smallest part or particle imaginable; a bit; a jot; an
iota; -- generally used in an adverbial phrase in a negative
sentence. "Samuel told him every whit." --1 Sam. iii. 18.
"Every whit as great." --South.
[1913 Webster]

So shall I no whit be behind in duty. --Shak.
[1913 Webster]

It does not me a whit displease. --Cowley.
[1913 Webster]

The expression "If God can use a donkey then surely he can use me" is
something I heard often growing up. You may ask how I can associate this
memory with the word "whit". The answer is quit simple. God can use any
flicker or fragment I think I am if I allow him to do it by whit.
Another meaning of the word "whit" is whole or complete. This comes from the
Greek word "holos" and is used in the New Testament twice in John 7:23
and John 13:10. So if I allow God to use me wholly he will take a
little nut shell and use it to change lives.

BILIOUS: a post generated by a random word

The Pig Pen.

What do you think the prodigal son thought that day he first entered the pig pen? I am sure at this point he was very disgusted that he had sunk this low. Imagine the smell! Imagine the filth. I wonder how long it took for him to get up the courage to eat the "cobs." Do you think he stuffed himself full? Or did he have to take small bites to get used to it? I think he probaley had to eat just a little bit at a time.

I wonder how long it took for him to get used to this. A couple days? A few weeks? By that point he was so dirty and had been living on this diet for so long, that it was easy to think there was no way out. The thought might have crossed his mind that leaving might be a good idea. I am sure he was thinking of his Father's home, and what he would miss out on if he never went home. Of course, the shame of what he had done, and his pride made him think that he never could return home. He knew that his Father and all those in his house would never look at him the same again.

However, he longed to be home. He longed to be in his father's presense, but he had strayed so far! He felt it was too far! Little did he know, his father was waiting for him daily, longing for him to show up- but each day he never came. Thoughts swirled through his mind constantly. He had nothing to keep his mind occupied. He watched the actions of the pigs, and maybe he felt remorse that even the piglets felt more love then him.

At what point do you think he got sick of the pig pen? Do you think it was when the temperature heated up? Maybe the weather changed? Or maybe it got cold even? I wonder if his thoughts turned to home, and he suddenly decided that he had sunk too low and had to get back. Maybe he got leftovers from a meal that he had feasted on at his Father's table. Whatever it was I am sure he didn't look back at the pig pen. He wanted to move forward and go as far from it as possible.

Oh I am sure he was reminded of the pig pen. After he had been home awhile, and it was his turn to go feed the pigs, I am sure he was reminded of the journey he made. Do you think there were some foods, some nourishment that he just couldn't seem to get enough of? Or maybe when they had the fatted calf he cringed inside?

Do you know that this world we are living in is a pig pen? The day will come when it will end. There is so much filth, and muck & mire, it is hard to focus on anything besides what is between the gates. But Jesus longs to have us home... and there will come a day where sadness shall end, and joy shall live forevermore.

MORNING GLORY: A post generated by a random word

Morning Glory: A word generated by a random word generator
n : any of various twining vines having funnel-shaped flowers
that close late in the day

Warning: Rambling ahead...
That's me! I feel like I also close late in the day. I am on any number
of twinging vines,
and then suddenly I droop after sundown. Why can't I pick one thing
and stick with it? Right now I am working on making a wallet, making a
suit (HA!), couponing, setting up a coupon organizer, shopping at Rite Aid
almost daily, reading, cooking new things, reading a couple books, blogging....

I feel like my life is disorganized. Down to the very things I love to do. Why
is there so few hours in the day? Why do I set such extemely high
expectations for myself? I always fail in my own eyes. Okay. I promise to try
harder to not do this.

Morning Glory is also one of 120 something color names I have memorized.
It's abbreviation is MN. It comes in 7/16", 5/8", 1". 1 1/2", 2 1/2", and 4."

Its actually very pretty. I must remind myself of this!

SINCERE: A post generated by a random word

Todays random word from the word generator is SINCERE

To recap I am letting the random word generator pick one word for every day. Whatever this word associates with in my head, I blog about for you to enjoy!

Sincere \Sin*cere"\, a. [Compar. Sincerer; superl.
Sincerest.] [L. sincerus, of uncertain origin; the first
part perhaps akin to sin- in singuli (see Single), and the
second to cernere to separate (cf. Discern): cf. F.
   sinc[`e]re.]
   1. Pure; unmixed; unadulterated.
      [1913 Webster]

There is no sincere acid in any animal juice.
                                                  --Arbuthnot.
      [1913 Webster]

A joy which never was sincere till now. --Dryden.
      [1913 Webster]

   2. Whole; perfect; unhurt; uninjured. [Obs.]
      [1913 Webster]

A sincere intention of pleasing God in all our
            actions. --Law.
      [1913 Webster]

   4. Honest; free from hypocrisy or dissimulation; as, a
      sincere friend; a sincere person.

Sin is sin

Cere in its root form means separate. Sincere could also mean separate from
sin. This is so true. I know there have been times when I have not been sincere,
because sin was present in my life! I always feel awkward around other people
that are being sincere when I am in this condition. Thank God that this condition
is SO easy to fix! Just getdown on your knees right now! Do it! Get down on your
knees! Now in the loudest voice you can say: "God I am so sorry for what I did!
(itmight be wise to go into great detail here) Please forgive me right now, and I
PROMISE I will do my best to do better!"

There. Now you can be sincere.

At least until tomorrow.

When we do not have sin in our lives we can be Sincere!

Are you sincere?

Think about it!

CRAW: A post generated by a random word

  craw
n : a pouch in many birds and some lower animals that resembles
a stomach for storage and preliminary maceration of food

ooooo boy... This is getting tough! Especially because I am determined to play by my own rules! (Going with the first thing that pops in my head, and not choosing another word unless something wouldn't be clean)

So the phrase that I thought of was "that really gets my craw" but Google tells me the phrase is "that sticks in my craw." From the definition above I now know that it means something is stuck in my stomach as I also found here:

Stick in One's Craw, To. To be unacceptable or repugnant. It has also been "crop" and "gizzard," all three expressions referring to the place in a bird's digestive tract where food is ground up. In the _Vindication of Sir Thomas Player_ one finds. "'Tis the Matter, not the Manner, that sticks in our Unworthy Respondents Gizzard."
From _The Dictionary of Cliches_ by James Rogers

OK so do you know what really "sticks in my craw" Bad parents. OK that can mean many things, and I am sure that all parents feel like they are not good at one point or another. But I am talking about parents that just don't care. Not- oh this happened by mistake, I am talking the ones that just don't care.

Ok so some of these are pretty funny I will have to admit, but in all
seriousness. Parenting is a serious job that should not be taken lightly.
These are little beings that we are responsible for! Their innocence is so precious,
let's not forget to preserve that! You can never be too safe, too cautious, or worry
too much when it comes to these little ones!! With that being said, we all have our moments... but
please just try your best! These lives depend on it!

and for a couple "bad parenting" photos of my own!
